Also did something a little different with the linking of the music from last episode, but we will be going back to the links to the bands we play on the next Punk and the Pastor.

The first movie up for review was The Exorcist:  The Version You've Never Seen Before featuring over ten minuets of additional footage this is hands down one of the most disturbing films ever made.

Following that was music from Ennio Morricone performed by Prague Philharmonic Orchestra with the Crouch End Festival Chorus, this time they are playing "Regan's Theme" from The Exorcist II: The Heretic, which not coincidentally was the second movie we reviewed.

The Exorcist II: The Heretic is an interesting film to say the least.  To classify it would be to say it is very much so like the Italian films of its time, but not quite as good.

To follow up that review we are blowing out "Regan"  by The Demonics.  This little slice of Bock-a-Billy hell has been a favorite of Gabriel's since the late 90's when he first heard it, and he hopes that it will be a favorite of yours.

Next up, the true sequel to The Exorcist, The Exorcist III.   The film made from the novel that is the real sequel to The Exorcist, Legion.  A brilliant book, that doesn't quite translate into a brilliant movie, but it, is the best of the sequels.

Then we feature music from Landspeedrecord! with their song "Let the Exorcism Begin".  You can find damn near everything that they have recorded at the website for free.  This is our favorite kind of band to be certain.  Click Here to get those downloads.

Finally we wrap this up by talking about both of the "prequels" to The Exorcist.  Exorcist:  The Beginning  and Dominion:  A Prequel to the Exorcist.  No to movies with the same plot and the same actors could be any different.

We made it to the second episode of The Punk and The Pastor!  That is exciting stuff to us.  We had a short sponsor ship with After Dark Film's Horror Fest, where we were supposed to get free tickets to the movies but I had an e-mail failure and lost my contact's e-mail so no dice.  

Other than that we have a couple of promos that we got from Kiptronic it is a great resource for finding other people that will advertise your podcast by trading promos.  Those are at the very end of the show, hope they aren't too obtrusive.  Guess we'll all find out.

First up we have a new theme song from Ghost of Gelsomina, this tune is called "It's a True Story" and we played it in its entirety on the first episode of Author Read Fiction.  It's a creepy little tune.

First movie we looked at was the Saw III obviously the sqeul to the Saw films.  It is out pick for the theatres.

Then some music from The Matadors with the song "Die" off their new album Horrorbilly 9000.

Then the video pick for the show was 1997's Event Horizon, this made for some interesting discussion.

Then some music from Drew Danburry  a great musician from Utah.  We played his song "I'll only believe in true love if Micah marries Camille" off of his Sex Rock album.

Then Stacey and Gabriel discuss when it is appropriate to let your kids watch horror.  This is a try out for a segment where the two of them discuss something that hopefully they will argue about, that didn't work to well this time.  We would love to get some input from you guys on this segment.

Finally a song from The Creepshow.  It is their cover of the Misfits song "Halloween".

The kick off story is Parking Loch by David Agranoff.  David is one of our own at Punk Horror and has just released a book of politically charged horror and science fiction entitled Screams From A Dying World.  Which is a benifit for Animal Acres a farmed animal shelter in Los Angeles.

His story is about a very interesting type of grid lock that may end up being the scourge of hit men around the nation. 

Also keep a look out in a couple of weeks (cross your fingers) for some short fiction read by the author.  This is going to be great and it should feature some really amazing fiction.

First off we have music from Gogol Bordello for the intro music.  It is the song Sally from their album Gypsy Punk Underground.

Next up was music from The Axe That Chopped The Cherry Tree.  These guys from Greeley, Colorado really know how to bring a room to it's feet, or something.  Great band be sure to check them out.  We dropped the track The Parachute Effect from their album Don't Touch the Lightning.

We then reviewed The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. The prequel to the 2003 remake of the 1970's classic film.

Then comes some music from 6afraidof7.  Another great band, this one hailing from Denver, CO.  We played their song Ruby.

After that we reviewed the 70's "Psychic Thriller" staring Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie:  Don't Look Now.  This 1973 film is on it's way to "remakeville."  Lets see which one is worse.

Then some music from Parker, Colorado's Ruin Sisera.  Great hardcore, with their song These Shattered Hands.

And Finally  An outro soung from Gogol Bordello again, from the same album this is the song Never Young.
